A Father-Son Legacy Built on the Mat
Wrestling runs deep in our family and this product was born from that passion.

Meet John Traub and his son Gary “Gas Tank” Traub. From youth wrestling tournaments in Cincinnati, to the Big Ten spotlight at Ohio State, and now helping build the next generation as an Assistant Coach for Oklahoma State Cowgirls Wrestling and a member of the Oklahoma State RTC, their journey has been anything but ordinary.

The idea for the Miniature Wrestling Headgear Award came from years of watching wrestlers get the same dusty plaques and generic medals. We wanted something better—something that actually felt like the sport we love. Together, we designed a product that honors hard work, celebrates grit, and brings a fresh take to wrestling awards.
A Symbol of Everything Wrestlers Fight For
This isn’t just another trophy. It’s a symbol of everything wrestlers fight for. From Cincy to Columbus, Corvallis to Norman, and now Stillwater, we’re proud to bring this idea to life and share it with the wrestling community we call home.
Thanks for supporting a family-run brand that lives and breathes the sport.
Charitable Mission
Meet Bentley, the grandson of John Traub and the nephew of Gary Traub.

Bentley was born in 2024 with a rare genetic condition named Treacher Collins Syndrome. Like his grandpa
and Uncle, Bentley is a fighter with a wrestler’s spirit. Little Bentley spent the first months of his life in the hospital having multiple surgeries and surviving several life and death emergencies. Today Bentley is a happy little boy, but with many surgeries and obstacles still to face. Inspired by Bentley’s resilience, John and Gary have made their Mission to help others battling Treacher Collins Syndrome. Through their company, Wrestling Award, Ten Percent (10%) of all profits are donated to organizations dedicated to the research and treatment of Treacher Collins Syndrome.
